We got a lemon bar, snickers cupcake, cream puff, and a cream horn. They looked good but upon further inspection and taste test you could tell they were very old and not fresh at all. Disgusting.
However, this place has good service and people are really nice.

Friendly mom and pop store that needs to update its recipes, they seem stuck in the 1950s. Too (hard to believe!) salty, too sweet, too heavy.
Friendly people, wonderful pastries, mom and pop places I will always patronize.
Had a sweet tooth day going on so I stopped by. Had chocolate chip cookies, lemon bar, apple turnover, and carrot cupcake. The cookies were okay but not the best and a little too underdone (soft is good but not fall apart soft), carrot cupcake was a little dry but otherwise tasty, the lemon bar had some sort of cream cheese-like spreading under the lemon topping which I didn't care for and the apple turnover was probably the best thing I tried there.
Update: My Purdue student daughter said that she was so surprised with what Judy had delivered to her. Thank you so much Judy and O'Rear's Pastry shop for making my daughters first birthday away from home and her family extra special! So appreciative
My daughter is a student at Purdue. I wanted to send her chocolate covered strawberries for her birthday. Spoke to the owner Judy who said she'd make them and delivery them to her on her birthday and pick up some balloons on the way , not to mention it's a Sunday. She was the nicest woman ever! Love you Indiana folk! Not sure I'd get that same service in New Jersey!
