Tons of games available for rent and purchase. Our host (owner?) was attentive and accommodating. He even stayed a bit after closing hours to allow our group to finish our game. We plan to return!
Great place! My husband and I recently had our wedding reception here playing games with our guests and it was as fun as ever! The staff are kind, but few, so do not be afraid to ask them for a water refill or for something they may have forgotten in the rush. They can all make excellent game suggestions and there are lists of all their available games categorized by group size to aid in your game selection process. Hopefully in a few years they can acquire a larger space so that more people can experience the wonder of Merlin's Beard!
I come here almost weekly, it's a board game tavern with great service, wonderful food, and a great selection of board games to play while you eat. You can bring your own games as well if they don't have what you want to play. It's a great place for a date, or a group get together for an evening of fun.
This place has an inviting, nerdy atmosphere with a myriad of game choices and tasty treats available too! The employees are super friendly and willing to help you learn the rules of games you’ve never tried before. I love it here!
They have an excellent selection of board games! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help explain any game. The food is good and easy to eat while playing games!
