I went into Gaete Auto sales on 5/12/2017 to look at a 2007 Mercedes-Benz and a 2011 BMW. I spoke with a young man that worked thier about these cars. He stated that the Mercedes Benz was around $8000, and the BMW was $12,500. However he went on to state that they only accepted cash for all vehicles sold. No credit programs, or payment options whatsoever.... Cash only. This was extremely odd, as that most of the cars on the lot seemed very nice, and priced over $7000. To begin with, unless your a drug dealer, most people don't just walk into dealerships with that type of cash to buy a car. Something didn't seem right, so I sent my girlfriend (Brooke Baumis) in alone to see if they would give her different options. She went in on 5/13/2017, and spoke with the lady in the office. She was told that they did have a credit program, and that they worked with people of all credit types. However they gave her higher prices for the same cars. I was actually in the car outside waiting, and my girlfriend sent me text notifying me of this information, so I decide to come in and speak with them about this suddenly new credit program being offered, lol. The associate working was quite surprised to see me, as I questioned them about this new found credit program, that seemed to be reserved for white or hispanic customers only. Needless to say, I did not but anything from them. They are dishonest about car prices, car histories, and clearly practice racist selling practices.
The only difference between my girlfriend and I is that I'm black, and she is white. Why would they tell me they only accept all cash for very expensive cars, and then tell my girlfriend something completely different. I hate to play the race card, but that obviously was the case in this situation. Terrible way to do business. Excellent and prompt service, I have bought few cars from them and the experience has been superb. The staff went beyond what was expected. They followed through with the sale and fixed any problem related to the car, way after the sale. I will highly recommend this business above others.

Great customer service!! Have been trying to find the right truck, for the right price and they were the place. Contacted them if they had what I was looking for, and to my surprise they did. They didn’t pull what most dealer would and tell you to go check it out only to find out they already “sold it”. Nice to see there are still great dealers around.
