My son and I used to visit that Church since from Tuesday to Friday we were living in Jackson MI and Saturday to Monday we were at Lafayette, IN.
We both loved the Indiana trips because we would go to your Church and learn about God, make Christian art and than go to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
What's remarkable is that the Sunday School teachers and Pastor Troy, would treat us as if we were locals. Our own Church in our town wasn't as friendly because we are Spanish speaking LATINOS, and it felt safe to be at a Church where people wouldn't be making little jokes about my accent, I don't want my son to feel he needs to side against me just because I'm a minority. Instead, these guys were loving and over all, we knew we were part of God's Kingdom since it was the same Gospel of Christ!
