I spoke with Samuel, he stated that he did not know why the work was still not done and that they would get to it as soon as possible.
They do not stand behind their product. We told they would repair the fence for a lifetime. However, they have not been able to repair our fence for 5 months.
On 9/14, I followed up with the resident to check on the status, I was told that the fence had not been touched.
The vendor explained that the job they were doing previously was taking longer than expected, but they would be able to start that afternoon.
I am a business owner myself and this is the worst company I have ever used for anything. They never answer the phone and they only returned my call once to do the bid. I accepted the bid and set up a date to get my fence installed. They never showed up to do the job. I called numerous times and left a message and never received a return phone call. I went ahead an hired Mr Fence It and had a great experience.
I called the vendor…. They stated that the concrete had to dry before they could finish.
On 9/7, I called the vendor again, They told me that they had some unexpected things come up and the fence work had to be pushed back.
I asked for the manager to call me back as soon as possible and that they make this job a priority.
I called the vendor again…
On 8/29, (the day after the work was scheduled to start) The resident contacted me stating that no one had been there to move the fence.
I reached out to the vendor because I was already concerned about the short timeframe they had to complete the work.
I asked if the work would be completed by the deadline of 8/31 and was reassured that this would be “No problem”
They have not only failed to do the job but they have rescheduled multiple times without notifying us or providing any kind of update ever.
I expressed that we had a hard deadline of 8/31 and the job needed to be completed by then.
On 9/5, I reached out to the resident to ask if the fence had been completed. She reported that NO ONE had even been there to start the work.
I attempted to contact the vendor but the person I spoke with could not tell me why the work had not been started.
I asked Blue's Fence to come out for an estimate Sept. 1st, today is October 21st and no report. I even called 3 weeks ago and they said estimate request was still on owner's desk....
On 8/8, One of our Tech’s met with someone from Blue’s to inspect the job and put together a quote.
Today…. I followed up with the resident, she reported that the fence work still was not completed.
On 9/19, The resident contacted me stating that the fence still was not completed. There were just posts across the yard.
On 8/14, I sent the quote from the vendor to the owner and it was approved to move forward.
On 8/ 17, The vendor notified me that they were scheduled to move the fence on 8/28.
Once again, I called the vendor and was told that they would do it on 9/15.
On 8/5, I sent Blue’s Fence company the information regarding what we were needing to do with the fence.
They once again reassured me that the work would be completed no later than 9/14.
They told me that they would have it completed no later than 9/21.
On 9/15, The vendor actually did go to the property and the fence was taken down, and posts were set up.
I did express that this whole thing was frustrating and truly disappointing.
That made sense, but this was 4 days after the concrete was placed. I asked when they planned to go back to finish.
On 8/15, I sent the signed quote to the vendor and asked them to start the work as soon as possible.
I was told that his manager would call me with an update that afternoon. I did not hear back from them that day.
They did a great job in the install. Workers were very kind and professional over all. The one major issue that we had was with communication. They are a small business and were down one crew. They installed our posts on time, but took a little longer to get the rest of the fence done. Overall we are very happy, but would suggest improving in communication about plans when there are issues. I would use them in the future for our next fence project.
