Good massage, good people. I don't understand why people think that all asian massage places need to have happy ending. it's nothing wrong if they don't do it. people come to get massage, not everything they want the massagist do.
Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at Asian Massage. At first entry, it smells of rancid massage oils. It is extremely dark and after my experience I can only imagine this is to hid how dirty this place is. The linens on the massage table did not smell or feel very clean. There was noise the entire time from the business next door and all I heard was people running and hitting the walls. I am convinced that the staff has had no formal massage training whatsoever. They have reflexology and muscle posters on the wall but it is clearly just for show. The "massage therapist" spent most of the time (1.5 hours) using her forearm and elbow to "massage" my back in a rubbing up and down motion and continuously went over my spine and lower back bones and all I could feel was her arm bones on mine which hurt a lot. Her nails were long which is not only unsanitary but painful as she was massaging because they scratched and pinched my skin. There were times when she literally grabbed my back with her hands and pulled my skin up...I have never experienced this and it was very painful. There was no in depth knowledge on how to use hands to massage muscles properly. You could call this more of a quick rub down by someone who is not trained or passionate about what they do. She kept leaving the room to answer the door and phone in the middle of my massage. Perhaps the most disgusting things, was that she kept coughing and then going back to massaging without washing her hands! In the end, the employee even had the nerve to ask for more of a tip - as if she didn't put together the reason why I was leaving her a small tip.
Poor quality. Waste of money. I doubt the women there knew anything about massage-- it almost felt like some one in the family learned a little and recruited his wife and relatives--I doubt they had a licence. This is an Asian person who had bad massages in Asia before.
What a rip-off! Asian Massage? Really? Uh, no. NO happy endings here! Even though there's Kleenex and lotion and the atmosphere is all secretive to make you think it's a typical "Asian massage;" DON'T bother. The massage was OK, but you're covered... at all times. I guess the owner's a vet and married Asian. He was giving someone guitar lessons in the lobby while I had my massage?!? The women are pretty, but they're not offering anything worth making a trip for. Save your money OR be prepared to leave 'un-relaxed.'
I enjoy them I get relaxed felling better and pending on who you get is how it finishe's but they all give a great massages
The price is ridicules. This is probably why no body actually goes; and they were only able to deceive new customers.
I rarely write reviews....when I do its only because I had exceptional experience or a horrible experience .
If you have had professional massages at spas or even a nail salon for that matter, I would avoid this place at all costs. Spend the extra $20 elsewhere to get a real massage.
