The groomer is extremely rude and doesn’t know how to talk to customers. I dropped my dog off for her appointment at 12pm and was told I would get a call back when she was done. I checked in at 2:30 and she hadn’t done anything but wash my dog and was rude about me checking in. She told me she’d call me when it was done. I never received a call and went in passed 5 pm wondering why she wasn’t done and the lights were all off my dog was in a cage in a corner and the groomer had already went home. The manager told me the groomer said my phone was disconnected when she tried to call me. I would rather go to petsmart pay a little more but receive much better service!
The only major complaint I have is that they cannot keep grooming staff. The last time I used their groomers, they were all "walking-out" that day due to mistreatment from management (they were being verbally abused by the manager, and their personal supplies were being used by the store staff, they also said they were being "ran-out" by the store staff- apparently they would come in and the AC would be turned down so low it was ice cold in their area. All here-say of course.) I saw at least 4-5 sets of groomers come and go in the last 5 years or so. I find that very suspicious as to why they can't keep them. I have since found another groomer in town that is fantastic. See my other reviews if interested.
Good and Bad... Sometimes they have what you're looking for, and sometimes they discontinue a specific pet food you use on a regular basis. I encountered this problem recently. They told me that they could order it (which in my case didn't help because I was completely out). However, they do have a very large variety of dog food at least. You can have coupons emailed to you which helps- especially if you purchase expensive food. For the most part I've had interactions with helpful staff while shopping here.
Great environment. Awesome play area to wear out your doggy before giving him a bath or walking him around the store.
In my busy day, I was not able to get to this store until five minutes before closing to get dog food. However, when I got there, (five minutes prior), the doors were locked. I knocked, and saw 3 employees walk by and look in my direction, but refuse to open the door. It was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I had ONE speedy purchase to make and I know exactly where it’s located. It would be nice if they stayed open as long as they claim they will be open.
Do NOT take your dog here for grooming. The groomer is incompetent. They used to have a good groomer named Claudia but the current groomer doesn't know what she is doing. She wanted to shave our Pomeranian because of a few mats that took no time at all for us to comb out and was rude on top of it. Any fool knows you don't shave a double coat dog. Talking to the manager didn't have any effect, they didn't give a shit either. We used to shop here all the time but basically f this place. They don't have anything we can't get from Petsmart or from Chewy.com. Petsmart has competent groomers and even though they charge a little more at least they know what they're doing.
