My dog LOVES coming to the vet, grooming and boarding. Everyone is so friendly and professional, plus being pet lovers. I have never seen a dog hesitate at the door.
The entire staff has always been extremely friendly, and they recognize my dog and remember his name even if it's been a couple of months since they have seen him.
Excellent vet. After Blair Animal Clinic cut my dogs ear open to remove a tumor and after several months and 5-7 additional visits to get it healed, I went to Petsburgh for a 2nd opinion. They gave him some pills, BOOM, ear healed. Once, I didn't have a way to get my dog to the vet but I was pretty sure he had a bladder infection. The vet allowed me to leave my dog at home and just bring a sample of his urine to be tested. I'm sure this is unorthodox, but while I waited, they tested my dog's urine, gave the diagnosis and sent me home with medicine that cleared up the infection. I mean, I did pay about 70 so I guess it's not surprising they would let me come in without the dog, but it was still a really nice thing to do.
I recently had to board my 10 month old dog for the first time. I usually am able to bring her with me when I travel, but this was an instance where that just wasn't possible. So I began to search for a place to board her for a night, and was surprised at how many places received bad reviews. Petsburgh Pet Care, however, had fantastic reviews. After visiting their website I went in to reserve her a spot in their boarding facilities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They told me what vaccines she was required to have as well as all of the TLC options that they have, and even allowed me to tour where my dog would be staying. When I brought her in to stay the night, they were very sweet to both me and my dog and reassured me that she would be just fine (I was a nervous wreck leaving her alone for the first time). Their facilities are gorgeous, with natural lighting and beautiful plants that really made the place seem more like home and less like a dog kennel. When I picked her up the next day she was happy and seemed to be in great shape. I will definitely board her here again in the future!
