Not an experience, this is something i read on their website. They believe that the rapture comes before the tribulation which in Mathew 24:29 is a lie. According to scripture, the tribulation must come before. Therefore, i believe their teachings to be false.
I would recommend Lighthouse Baptist Church to anyone in the Lafayette, Indiana area who is looking for a church where they can worship. Pastor Murdock is a very capable preacher who knows the scriptures, loves his people and has a heart to see his community come to faith in Christ. I suppose there are many good churches in Lafayette but from my personal experience in attending several services while visiting Lafayette, I don't think you will do better than Lighthouse Baptist Church. The people are very friendly, the music is upbeat yet traditional. I guess what I am saying is that I always came away from the service at Lighthouse with a blessing. I think you will too.
Thankfully, Pastor Bill Murdock teaches the WHOLE Bible, in FULL! He doesn't select one verse and run with it! He teaches what comes before and after each selected verse as well as other Books of the Bible and verses that relate to that one selected verse. Matthew 24:29 does read as Coty Perkins so noted however many other verses are perfectly in line with the Tribulation coming after the Rapture! Obviously, each one of us need to read our Bibles for ourselves and come to our own understanding for as God wants us to understand it. It's what makes our own interpretation our own and allows us to have a deeper, personal relationship with God - This IS why He sent His Son to the Cross - Not so we could have a "Religion" but to have a Personal Relationship with Him! Pastor Bill Murdock is phenomenal! I've known him for years and you will leave his teaching feeling very Spiritually Fed!
