He takes the time to listen to you! He is willing to work with you and not just throw you in medications that you don't need!
I have suffered with mental health issues for over half my life and it's difficult for me to reach a comfort level where I can talk openly and honestly with doctors/therapists. However, I liked Dr. Buonnano almost immediately. He was always very nice and made me feel like he truly cared about me. I felt safe and I was easily able to open up to him about all of my problems. He was the best psychiatrist I've ever had. I was his patient for at least six years. I've missed him since I moved away a few years ago, but I would absolutely recommend him to anyone! I recently moved back into town and my current psychiatrist isn't able to see me anymore. I plan on calling Alpine Clinic to ask if Dr. Buonnano would possibly be able to fit me back into his schedule. He helped me through more than anyone else ever has! I give him an A+++ all the way!
Dr B. sticks to facts & direct observations without theorizing about all the why's & "what-if's." I never feel judged by him. I like that if he wants to know something that he asks me instead of guessing. I feel comfortable asking him questions because l know he will always be upfront & honest.
