I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor.
I have been a patient of Dr.Mcguire's for a lot of years. I had been taking my husband to another Doctor for a while and he would just keep giving him medication and having him seen every few months. Nothing seemed to help.. because I had missed 1 (one) appointment the Doctor would no longer see any of my family members. I took my husband to Dr.Mcguire and he sent him for test right away and found he had a brain tumor. The tumor had enlarged to where it was pressing on his brain stem and if it had gotten any bigger would have paralyzed him and the headaches were tremendous. He got my husband into a wonderful surgeon and they removed it all. My husband and I as well as our children love him and his staff. We will be lost if he retires.
I've been going to Dr. McGuire for nearly 25 years. He has a wonderful sense of humor, he doesn't keep me waiting and he takes good care of me.
I have been seeing Dr McGuire for a while now. I have Hypertension and see him regularly so this is not based on a single phone call or interaction. I have found him to be courteous, well informed and frankly very down to earth. I have traveled a good deal for work and have had interactions with several Doctors and Health Systems through the years and I prefer the no-nonsense approach of Dr. McGuire. There are times I have found his office staff to be a bit abrupt, but all in all I would and have recommended him.
The only complaint I have is that he once misdiagnosed my shingles. He got that right on the second try.
