Classic Bait & Switch kind of business...
Staff was rude, had to chase down one of 4 employees to get any help (all of 2 customers in store + me). They didn't bother to show me anything just pointed towards area of store without ever acknowledging my presence. Employees preferred to eat and chat instead of doing actual customer service.
Purchased some living room furniture. Customer service was very friendly. Delivery was made by courteous young men. When delivered, the recliner had a bad alignment. Called the store the next day and they immediately sent out a replacement chair. Time will tell as to how well the furniture holds up and the warranty, but for now we are very satisfied.
Aside from the fake reviews on here...
Went there 3 different times because of the TV advertisement. This location never had anything close to what was advertised - even when it said it was at this location. They had more expensive options but not what was advertised.
However, delivery showed up two hours later than promised. Ended,up missing an,event,we,were,supposed,to,go,to,that evening...Then even though we paid extra to have everything put together they left without attaching the headboard to the bed and never bothered to tell us that they didn't have the hardware with them to attach it. We called the store twice and a manager said they would have the delivery people get back with us....They never did. I finally had to go back to the store myself and they gave me the hardware but made an excuse that hardware doesn't come with headboards. This had never been our experience in the past. We were also surprised by how little business this store has and very few staff on hand especially considering their incessant television commercials.
Bought a queen box spring as a walk in customer. Good price. No issues. Courteous loading staff into my car. Nice work.
Safe to say I'll never give them my business. I tried 3 times to get my money and not a single time did they seem to care if I bought anything or just dropped dead so they didn't have to deal with a customer.
I had a great experience at American Freight in Lafayette, IN. Marcos was more than willing to show us everything we were looking for and we settled on a great price! He will work with you and was a nice person. American Freight has a valuable manager with Marcos. I would highly recommend talking with him. I will definitely be going back!
