Couldn't be happier with One Hour! They weren't pushy at all with things and I just bought a brand new system from them and the customer service during and after the installation has been so great. They were very honest with my options and helped me make a selection on the right furnace & air conditioner. I'd highly recommend them!

Aug 22nd 2014 - Estimate gotten from One Hour Heating. $7000

This was the worst heating and cooling company that I have ever used. When I first called to make the appointment, they were incredibly nice, but once they started to have problems fixing my furnace, they got rude very quickly. They charged me for unnecessary repairs. It took them 6 appointments (that is 12 hours of my own time that I had to clear for their arrival) which was over about 3 weeks. Once they called and canceled last minute, after I had already taken off work because someone had to be there while they were working on it. After $350 of worthless repairs to do nothing to fix the furnace, they send out another technician of theirs (the first 5 appointments it had all been the same guy. I requested a change in technician but they told me he would basically have to start over and it could be several more appointments until they figured out what was wrong with it.) and he cleans the flame sensor which takes about 2 minutes and then the furnace is working! They charge me the $350 anyway even though those repairs were unnecessary and I express my concerns that it shouldn't have taken 6 appointments and two technicians to see that the flame sensor was dirty and needed to be wiped off. I kept referring them to the code that the furnace was giving out (red flashing lights in sequence to determine the issue) and they ignored me. If they had bothered to look at it they would have known it as the flame sensor. They told me that I was lucky that they didn't charge me $79 for each of the 6 times they came out because their 'diagnostic fee' is actually just a house call fee regardless of what they are doing. When I tried to express my concerns, the secretaries would be on the verge of yelling at me. I constantly asked for the manager/owner and he could never be bothered to speak with me or call me back. Please don't use this company. Use a company that has a good reputation, I wish I had.

The next week, installers come and tell me they can not install it the way that the estimator said it would be installed. This was a problem for me. Second estimate - $8500, installers say this will also not work). 3rd estimate $10,000. I told them to forget it. They said, we have another option, $7,500. I said ok. Equipment doesn't come in, doesn't come in, finally comes in, one piece is damaged. They are unable to get a replacement for this piece. After waiting a couple more weeks on Sept 17th, they tell me they can't get it, are not going to try to and are not willing to install it.

I would not recommend One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. We have a blower that runs continuously and needs a relay replacement. I called and told them the problem, along with the model number of the furnace and the serial number. A reputable business would have called back and said that they did not have a relay that would fit. However, I got a call saying that they might have one on the truck that would work, so I allowed them to come out on the basis that it was highly probable that they had one that would work. The technician got here and said he had nothing that would work. I spent $79 just to be told that when they could have called me to tell me that instead of taking my money. I would not buy anything from them nor have them back for a service call after being ripped off this way.

They called me everyday at work to collect payment (before they actually fixed the furnace). They refuse to discount the $350 and threaten me with charging me more for the 'service calls' they had to made because their 'repairs' were not working and they had to come back out. Please use someone else.
