I am so tired of county crews closing roads without any thought given to the folks that travel upon them. Just slap up a sign "Road Closed" and let the commuter figure it out. No detour signs, no begin and end date on the closure, nothing. Might as well just post a sign that says "Road Closed Sucks To Be You" it would be more accurate. I get that road work needs to be done, that is not even the issue here, what is wrong is the County arrogantly closes a road and you are left to figure it out. News flash...not everyone traveling the road is privy to the back road alternatives. Yet another example of your tax dollars at work, but unfortunately not put to work for the folks who are paying the bills. I would have given the County a no star rating but it is not an option.
