I had to lower my rating from 3 stars down to 1 star. The Lafayette Hobby Lobby store has the worst customer service ever! It has gotten even worse.
Many of the stocked items are damaged and not properly removed or discounted. This is very frustrating. I have had issues when I have asked for help locating something about being dismissed without ever receiving any direction or help and being left to stand and wait for assistance. During the checkout I have had glassware items placed in plastic bags with other items without being wrapped. When I have requested the items be wrapped I have been handed wrapping paper. I have been told that items are not damaged when they clearly are broken or missing parts. It turns into a hassle if you need multiples of anything or matching items. So try and plan for alternatives.
Hobby lobby is a fun place to shop or just look around. Great deals are easily found and you can usually find a 40% of coupon online to print and use in-store.
Some of the employees are very helpful and have a positive attitude which is much appreciated! Unfortunately though there are more employees that have a very abrasive and negative attitude and especially so for the management.
Nice shopping experience, great selection of crafts, fabrics, home decor, and huge Christmas section! Reasonable prices, good shopping location, too.
We (me and my daughter) always spend a lot of time here. We usually have to be pushed out by my husband.
I hope that someone who works in management at Hobby Lobby reads this and makes some changes for the better. Please remove broken items and order new. Check your inventory. Encourage your employees to listen to the questions asked and provide honest answers.
Nothing major happens when I shop at this location but it is inconsistent much of the time and always disappointing. I am sure in the over 15 years I have lived in this community I have had a visit or two to Hobby Lobby where none of the employees were rude but I cannot recall that for certain.
