I was there a week after they opened. They definitely are still sorting out some bugs. There were numerous problems, mistakes and delays. Here's what I will do and what I suggest you do if you had bad service there but enjoyed the food: give them a month or two and try again before you write them off. The food really was outstanding.
Really good food! Everything on the menu looked so good that it was hard to decide. Went with the vegan tacos and they were amazing. Fresh and filling. Ordered buffalo stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer. Homemade chips were also yummy.
I'm excited about a new restaurant downtown. I finally got to try it. The food was really very excellent, I had the vegan tacos, and my wife had the rice bowl. So good! They had a very nice french rosé on the menu which was delicious. (Though the menu says it's from California. It is not.) One of the great things is the patio, it is quite spacious and faces east with buildings to the west, so you can always eat your dinner in the shade!

Very cute little place. I loved the outdoor seating arrangements that they offered, and the whole place had a very chic and contemporary atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and personable (one of the major things drawing me back). The food was exceptional. Our table ordered the vegan tacos, chicken tacos, pan seared tuna, and cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. I would recommend going here. It’s a nice and neat quiet spot, perfect for an evening with friends or even somebody special.
Update: Three months later and the service is still weirdly terrible. The really don't seem to care. Down to 3 stars.
Liked it!! Went for Sunday brunch, had a nice sourdough melt. Nice atmosphere, good playlist. Had a good long talk with some friends and they didn't chase us off!! Glad to have a new spot in Lafayette downtown.
