Some friends referred me to this Herreras Auto repair, they all told me the prices and services were good so, I took my car for a break diagnosis/change, Mr. Hector did a very good job describing the problem and fixing it. My breaks are good now, rotors and breaks pads from the front and rear were changed. I paid a reasonable amount of money a lot less than previous estimate from other place. My car is working well, I hope it will continue like that. So fa so good, If anything change I will let them know.
Now we know: they were right, it was clutch related problem.
Spent over 1000 and car is still broke
They took a ride and honestly said that it seems to be clutch related, but only hearing it, in a few min. they can not be totally sure.
We took car from the dealer to have it checked before we buy it.
There was some strange noise after gear was changed.
Last January, my car broke down suddenly a few blocks from Herreras Auto Repair shop. I looked up the closest mechanic and was able to drive it to Herreras Shop. It turned out to be the transmission. Despite the fact that I walked in without an appointment and he was busy, Hector looked at my car quickly and explained the problem to me.
They checked some other things, told us what was wrong in the car, and did not took a single cent for it.
Hector is extremely kind and more than fair with his prices. I'd recommend Herreras Auto shop to anyone!
The best repair shop in Lafayette, IN, I have 12 kids and step children, and 25+ grandchildren. Hector and Lalos have fixed many cars for me, They stand behind what they fix. If its not right they will make it right. Their prices are fair and they are quick at getting things done.m I can't say enough god things about them.
