Got my car done quickly and done right! Assisted me with getting my car towed and always kept me updated. Good price and good service! Excellent place! Will be taking my car back in the future for any needed repair!
I called this company to confirm if they did the type of repairs I needed and able to drop me off at my home and pick me up afterwards (since I didn't have transportation while being repaired, but still needed to get to work). They stated they could do that. When I dropped off my car, I asked them to call me BEFORE doing repairs, other than oil change, to approve of cost for repair. I didn't get that call. Instead I got one call that stated that they "fixed all the issues" for a little over $100. Then a couple hours later, I get another call stating that they fixed another issue (that was supposed to be part of the whole process from the get go) for an additional "80+ dollars". I accepted that and was fine (not realizing that I never got the quote call and that the first call was supposedly completely done). Then I call to ask to be picked up so I can get car, and told that it can't be done because there wasn't additional personnel to watch the shop. I was offered to be picked up the next AM and asked me to text them my address. After doing that and confirming the type of payment accepted to avoid wasting added time, I get attitude from employee about arrangement and creates an argument via text, then blames me for an "attitude". I will NOT go back to this shop for all these reasons and would NOT trust their word in the future on any level since they have no problems promising one thing and doing the opposite.
I just want to say that Lafayette Auto Plus is an A+++++++ company. I will NOT go anywhere else. Ivan & his crew has went above & beyond any expectation I could ever have with both mine and my family's vehicles. We are charged more than fair prices and are given amazing customer service! You guys truly rock!! I will always go back and will also refer you guys to anyone who needs car repair.Keep up the fantastic work fellas! (:
(same evening update) Since I posted this, the employee that gave me poor customer service when it came to picking up the vehicle, ensuring that I got the quote call before repairs were done and retracted the offer to pick me up in the am, sent me this text message (I've tried posting the screenshot, but I haven't been able to see it sticking). I wasn't planning on returning anyway, but I don't respond well this type of treatment and feel that the owner should consider the training of personnel when they have no problem speaking to customers this way. I won't screen shot the entire conversation because that is between myself and the owner/supervisor. I made a point of removing the phone number for that employee's privacy.
(day after update) After speaking to the owner, who politely listened, sympathized and took the concerns seriously with the inappropriate customer service by the front office person, he made up for the issues. He also offered his personal assistance so that this doesn't happen again. The owner was very professional and desires to keep business.

Service was fantastic. Really great prices, they charged me about half of what another auto place was trying to charge me. Being a young female not knowing much about cars I know some places take advantage of that. That was definitely not the case here. I will for sure be bringing my car to them for future problems/oil changes, etc...Ivan and the other guys were great! Definitely recommend!
These guys are great! Friendly, helpful, & honest employees. They even worked through their lunch break so I didn’t have to wait as long. Thankful to have an auto shop our family can trust. They have low prices, which is important to us! They even made sure I had bottled water to drink while I waited. Definitely 5 stars! Great service!
