Went in about a week ago to have the power steering looked at. I was told that a single hose was leaking, and that I would have no further problems. Just took my car to my old shop in Carmel today, I was having the same problem. They showed me that there were 3 other leaking hoses. So, problem not fixed. For an oil change, sure, Midas is okay, and they also replaced my rear brakes. However, replacing only one leaking hose does not mean the problem is solved. I would love to hear back from Midas on this, and give them a chance to win back my business. I am disappointed.
I do not like being lied to that my new car needs four new tires, when I come in for an oil change. (I am aware of tire wear marks) When the tires were rotated none of them had the same psi. I really wonder what kind of service was provided.
Came here with the intention of getting an oil change. But the woman at the counter told me that I don’t need an oil change, even though the last mechanic i went to said I’d need to get another oil change after 3,000 miles with the full synthetic oil. She said the life of full synthetic is around 6,500 miles. I was almost cheated out of 3,500 miles of use but the woman at the counter saved me from that and saved me a pretty penny. I’ll definitely be coming here when I do need an oil change, though. Super nice!
STAY AWAY!!! I made an appointment for 3:30 pm to have all of my Brakes changed. I arrived early, after about an hour wait, the lady came to get me and had me walk to my car. Then proceeded to tell me that they could not get my back tire off, they had PB blasted it and hit it with a hammer. I understand wanting to get the job done, BUT I should have been told that they could not get it off after 20-30 mins, NOT an hour later. So then I told them to just do the front brake pads and was told that it would be another hour before they would be done, and over $200. At this point I had been there for about an Hour and a half. I had to pick up my daughter by seven that is why I scheduled an appointment. The lady in the front was very rude from that point on because I was upset that I was going to be there longer than what I was told on the phone when I called. My husband is a mechanic, and could have had all four brakes done in less than 2 hours, the only reason why I took my car there was because he was out of town. I ended up paying $172 for front brake pads, and that was only after I had found coupons to get the price down!!!! I Learned my lesson I will only do business with BECK'S Auto right down the road.
Midas does great work on my vehicles and always helpful. I love their service and I make sure to check them out before I go elsewhere!
