I had been shown a pamphlet prior to surgery with a picture of a recovery room. It depicted a patient recovering on a bed in a room without any other patients. That is not the case! I was in between two other patients with only a couple feet between us and a curtain as a wall. I could hear them crying and arguing. At one point the curtian was left opened for anyone to see me. The nurse told me that they were in a hurry for us to recover and leave.
All they care about is money! Money! Money! Money! It's sickening that he makes over 6 figures a year but will sue you if u miss a few payments on a 200.00 bill..seriously, doctors overcharge anyway! NEVER again! DO NOT go to him for services! I went into A-fib 2 days after a tonsilectomy because my pain was not under control. I should have never been discharged the same day at 45 years old! I was given pain medicine and harassed by Ruth (the RUDE office lady) for calling and requesting a second round. I was told I shouldn't need it..4 days after surgery!!! I hadn't even had my post op appt yet! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
I have no complaints with the doctors, just their office staff/phone system.
Son was referred by pediatrician for tubes in his ears. Waited 3 days and never received a call to schedule initial appointment. I had to reach out to them, the office lady who took my call was very rude and short. After 5 mins of her being rude about my appointment requests I eventually just told her, thanks but no thanks. I think i will just have my doctor refer us some where else. She hung up. They did my tubes for my daughter in 2015 and I didn't have the same experience. Unfortunate.
I have been having troubling contacting anyone that can help. I just need them to resubmit some paperwork. I called around 12:30pm and I was told they are at lunch until 1:15pm. Called again around 2 and the menu forces you to pick 1 of 2 nurses. Neither answered so I left a message. I called a third time at 4:50pm and got the answering service which told me they have already left for the day and that I should call back tomorrow.
Edit: Once you get in contact with a live body they are very nice and helpful. Albeit twice there was paperwork lost between Lafayette ENT and a third party medical center where I needed tests done.
I believe that this doctor does not care about anything other than money and financial gain. The surgery was done so poorly I have more issues now than I did prior. I wish I could give him 0 stars. I have had several years of issues due to this man! PLEASE, PLEASE, go to a different doctor and ask for references, make sure they listen to you! Make sure they evaluate you with testing and look at your medical history! Ask about safety of anesthetics and medicines. Ask to see the recovery area. You will regret it if you go to him. I am thankful that I did not have anything worse happen. I would never have surgery in a small clinic like this one again. It is unsafe and scary.
Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever been to. Scheduled my surgery on the first appointment without doing a single test or review of my medical history! Did not listen to me when I told him I was sensitive to medications and anesthetics. Immediately following surgery the nurse slapped my face and told me to wake up or I'd be rushed to the emergency room! As I woke up she wiped my face and told me that they had forgotten to wipe me off after the procedure and there was a lot of dried blood on my face.
