Absolutely the best buying experience ever! Called to see if they could make the same mattress I purchased from them in 2009. Salesman had me take a picture of tag and text it to him. Called me back with price, told me mattress would be delivered the next week between 11-12 and pay driver upon delivery!!! Wow!!!! I did not have to step in store, did not have to prepay. And my mattress was delivered at EXACTLY 11:00 today!! Such a satisfied customer and cannot wait to sleep on my specially made for us mattress....so fortunate to have a local company as Holder Mattress!!!
I live in Fishers but made the trip to Lafayette at the recommendation of a friend. I looked them up on Google reviews and saw great feedback. When I walked into Holder Bedding Mattress Factory, I spoke with Merrick. I noticed immediately upon entering that there was a shop in the back. I got the tour and Merrick explained to me that each mattress is made by him or his team to each orders exact specifications. He explained that if I didn’t love it, he would keep working with me to make the mattress that would work for both of us.
No mattress store would have ever let me do that. However, Merrick did. He wanted to make sure I was 100% sure what I was buying and how it would feel. The mattress took about 3 weeks to make and was delivered at my house in Fishers. We also purchased the adjustable bases and his delivery guys set them up, program the remotes, explained how to properly break in a mattress, and then hauled my old frame, head board and mattress away at no additional cost.
Holder provides the best experience, knowledge and information anywhere, plus each mattress is made-to-order on-site--we have three in different sizes. Going to any other mattress store would be a waste of time and money. We like that it is locally-owned and rate each employee as having the highest professional standards. Thank you, Holder Mattress!
My back had been bothering me for over a year and I KNOW it was because my mattress. I was basically sleeping in a hole for a long time. I sleep on my stomach so it was putting a lot of stress on my back as I woke up daily with a back ache. My wife is 6 months pregnant and I know it’s difficult for her to get comfortable at night as well.
Merrick spent an hour with me going over probably 10 different combinations of firmness before deciding which one I wanted. Ultimately, I decided to have one side of the mattress a bit firmer and the other softer for my wife. I found it interesting that by sides had pillow tops which I didn’t know was a thing. I thought I was driving him crazy after laying on these different combination of memory foam and pillow tops for well over 30 minutes. He was very patient with me and exceeded my expectations by providing so many additional options than the standard display options.
We recently purchased the firm Legacy king mattress set, and it has literally changed our quality of life. After dealing with a sciatic nerve and shoulder problems, and both of us waking up numerous times throughout the night on our old Posterpedic mattress, we are now consistently getting a full nights sleep since switching to the Holder mattress. The sciatic nerve has pretty much gone away, and shoulder issues have greatly improved, and all it took was getting on the firm Holder mattress. Thanks Holder, for a great mattress and outstanding service to boot!
It was my first time shopping for a mattress on my own and I was a little leery of the whole process. I didn't want someone trying to up-sell me or breathing down my neck as I'm trying to decide what I even wanted. My first (and only) stop was at Holder Bedding. All the excellent reviews and the fact that it's family owned lured me there. I worked with Jonathon on finding my new mattress and he was awesome. He was the opposite of what I expected any salesman to be. He gave me some helpful info right off the bat, then left me on my own for awhile to look. He didn't press me towards their most expensive options either. All their mattresses are double sided (twice the life!) and if you live in town their delivery is much cheaper than I was expecting. I was very impressed by this place and was in and out of there in less than an hour with my new mattress coming next week! If you're looking for a new mattress I would check this place out first.
