Steer clear! This property management group lacks the basic understand of customer service. After three unreturned phone calls, I emailed them to inquire about a flooding issue on my property and the common area connected to my property. They responded and claimed they would attempt to contact the Developer to get the problem resolved. After several more attempts to email and call by me, I finally got a response seven weeks later. Their response was to tell me to call the Builder. In the meantime, the landscapers Main Street Management hired have been mowing on this flooded common area and on my property, leaving muddy tire trenches and destroying the grass in that area. The simple common courtesy of a return phone call directing me to right person from day one may have helped avoid this grievance. I certainly would never hire them nor would I recommend any Developer, Builder or Owner hire them to be the middle-man between their customers and their business.
This company's president is Rep. Randy Truitt, who bastardized all concept of religion by voting yes for Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act. If you want to support discrimination, support this company. If not, avoid.
They should change their name to Doofus Management. They manage a large downtown parking structure with a clear sign to contact them if interested in monthly parking. But then it turns out this is "for residents only" even though their stupid garage is half empty all the time. And if it's for residents only, there are way better ways to inform them without confusing the public at large.
We have leased office space at 133 N 4th St in Lafayette for over three years. We recently signed a long-term lease because we are so delighted with the care and amenities we receive from Randy Truitt, Connie Townsend, Steve Baker and the rest of the team. Whenever we have a question or concern, we are treated with respect. Response times are very fast...often within minutes we'll have a maintenance in our office to fix a problem. The maintenance crew has also been very helpful in hanging heavy monitors on the wall, changing can lightbulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and more. We're almost impressed with how affordable the rent is in our building. We get complimentary broadband and free heat, air conditioning and electric. No surprises because there's no utility bills! As our company grows we hope we can maintain our presence in the building. Main Street Management has been a factor in helping us maintain our expenses, allowing us to reinvest profits in order to grow!
