The hotel is beautiful. It has a downtown vibe to it. The in-house restaurant is Italian and is amazing.
Beds were not clean, they had some smell. Hotel seemed old. Room didn't have many basic amenities like fridge, tissue, safety box. The windows were dirty. They didnt give complementary water. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall though, it didn't feel like a good Holiday Inn hotel compared to their other ones.
We love staying at Holiday Inn City Center when we come to Lafayette. A really classy hotel with very helpful, friendly staff, super clean rooms, comfortable beds (lots of fluffy clean pillows, too!) and beautiful views of the city from its windows. Housekeeping is also very quiet and efficient. Convenient location for walk to historic downtown, and close to Wabash River Walk and Purdue.
Near to city center. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service in both places attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
I was attending an event in one of their private rooms. There was not enough seating for the number of guests. The staff was nice, however they should have cleared the tables after the meal. They also never brought coffee mugs for the coffee that was on the table
