It was a blessing to stay at a Motel that was very clean and presentable. The staff was very helpful at check in and also when I had an issue with my door securing. Only problem was that a few channels did not have signals. This was nothing that hampered my stay just want to inform you.
Motel 6 is known for being a cheap choice but this fell even below minimum standards. The building, parking lot, sidewalks are all in various stages of disrepair and seemed to be abandoned to time by management.
Pass on this place. The room I was given was in the back where there were several shirtless dudes grilling food just outside their door while downing beer after beer. The room itself was sparse and very odd since it had a cheap imitation hard-wood floor that not only was soft in some areas but poorly installed. Everything was cheap and the bed was completely worn-out. I didn't expect much but was still disappointed. Especially when I tried to iron a shirt in the morning only to discover they do not provide an iron or ironing board.
At one point in time this was my favorite cheap motel to stay at. The last few times I have stayed there have been horrible. They have nice newly remodeled rooms. Downfalls to those rooms are there are never the proper amount of towels or pillows for two people. On my last visit, there wasn't even a shower curtain. The lady who works afternoons was very unenthusiastic about resolving any of the problems. I will defiantly find a new place to stay
The people were polite and nice. The stores weren't very crowded.the surrounding areas was mild. It was beautiful I would visit again but not 2 soon
Our last resort after our other hotel lost our reservation (their opinion separate). And I mean last resort. We planned our trip two months in advance and ended up here only because our reservation was lost. Bedding was worn. Holes and such. Not enough towels. A place to lay your head at best.
